Also, I am back home. This is home now. It was strange being there, where home was for years, and feeling both at home and not. Every night was tears in my pillow, falling to sleep thinking of my mother. Every morning was waking exhausted and somewhat disoriented. It was a peculiar exercise in cognitive disonance, warping my perceptions of space and time.
My husband let me take a three hour nap yesterday, and I still went to bed early. I think I'm still recovering, even after being here for a day.

I spend too much time volunteering to really get my business moving. I don't want to take the time out of that, but I may have to. Feeding the family has to come first and all. Sigh.
