One of my greatest passions is gardening!
Since I went to live alone, every year during this time, I spend half of my salary on new plants and pots to fill the whole house!
Sincerely for me is more than a passion... one day I will love to live in the middle of the nature and At university I’m studying agricultural engineering..
Unfortunately I live in a basement without natural light (the worste nighmare for an agricultural) this obviously prevents me from living in a forest and from having flowering plants, I can only grow tropical plants such as monstera or in any case plants with fleshy leaves. ..
BURT! I want to share with you some secret might you don’t know,
and sooooo here we are at the big reveal of the 3 perfect trick for true gardeners!
1- The leaves of fleshy plants, especially tropical ones that should be vaporized with water, often become dusty and stained with limestone;
Magic natural trick for polishing the leaves at home:
take a glass and a rag and pour 1/3 of milk and 2/3 of water into the glass, then gently cleanse the leaves.
they will be super shiny and hydrated! Your plants will look happiest ever and will thank you
2- How to avoid mosquitos? In the summer, the plant’s saucers with a hair of stagnant water are the perfect nest where mosquitoes go to lay their eggs! to avoid this, just put a couple of copper coins in the saucers, the copper makes the water inhospitable!
3- please .. PLEASE always REMEMBER!
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO MAKE A PLANT SUFFER FROM THIRST THAN DROWN IT!
Avoid giving too much water to your plants, if the plant goes limp a bit, a good watering is enough to make them regain vigor while if you water it too often they can rot the roots and be attacked by pests, insects and molds and there isn’t any remedy to that!
In hoping to have saved some innocent plants today and have done my work 💪🏼
Please let me know in the comments your secret tricks as experienced gardeners !!
