Yesterday I was over at my friends place to watch a hockey game. My car was still snowed in so I got dropped off, and a friend was picking me up when he was done whatever he was doing. Well the game ended, and my other buddy wasn't back yet so since my friend is going to be single again I figured I should try to integrate him into my other circle of friends, the nerds.
He's my sports friend, and doesn't do a whole lot of nerdy things so I've slowly been introducing him to the life, Lord of the Rings marathon a little while ago, Star Wars marathon the other weekend, and since there was time I made him watch his first Dr. Who episode. Now I did some research before trying to bring him into that world, and the general word was to start new people off with 'Blink' which is perhaps one of my favourite episodes.
Now if you are a Doctor who fan, you will love what happened, and totally understand how proud I was of my friend. The moment when Sally and Larry enter the TARDIS towards the end of the episode he practically yelled "It's HUGE on the inside."
Now he isn't as smart as Martha, or as good looking as Rose, Amy, or Clara. He is however as loyal as Rory, as brash as Donna, and clever as Mickey. So Yeah if I ever become a Time Lord, get myself a TARDIS, he'd do for a companion.
