So yeah I haven't been overly busy, just feeling lost, and while I can normally find some solace here reading other peoples blogs, living vicariously through them I couldn't bring myself to even log on. I have been working more hours have picked up, and I even took up a second job so I have been busy, but there has always been enough time if I had wanted to come in and update or read or comment but I don't know what is going on in my head and didn't want to bother people here with it? I have no idea. So fuck it.
Anyway. In the near month that I've been away I've taken on a second job, thanks to a very concerned friend, and to be honest if it weren't for him I'd be even worse off than I already am. He's pretty good a picking me up. I'm not really sure where I'd be without friends like him.
Batteries got a little more recharged yesterday with my annual Father's Day baseball trip. Not only was it an awesome game (we won, and we SWEPT the series) but my son got me the tickets for Father's Day this year, and a new hat, the Jays changed their logo this year and my hat and jersey need to be replaced. So here is what made my day.

Looking at the last photo I couldn't tell you who had a better time at the game him or me, and that look on his face has helped me, picked me up that little more that I needed, helped me realise that I have in fact done some good and that I need to keep focused on those small victories in life to make sure that I attain the larger ones.
I swear that he teaches me more about myself than I knew was there to be taught. I think I'd be even more lost without him around. Those of you with kids will understand that, I know it isn't always that way for everyone but he is a life saver.
Going to try to refocus my efforts get things going. I owe it to myself, to my son.
Here is some Nerd humour, with some Father's Day Funnies too!
