Dave fell out of the post punk 80's with the Moodists and has reinvented himself many times over the past 20years with a variety of line ups. The latest features himself with partner Claire Moore. As literate as Lou Reed and as sophisticated as Serge Gainsbourg, Dave has provided moments of immense delight and beauty (Night Of the Wolverine, The Soft and Sexy Sound). His tales are from the outside, the pioneers, the cowboys, the losers, the junkies, the red velvet suits, the sipping of a 1/5th of scotch while the light goes down.
