Although its hard to support the barbaric slaughter of baby seals it does make me question my (our) selective objection to animal slaughter.
I know Morrisey has a history of being political when it comes to issues regarding animals and I applaud this stand.

As a meat eater Ive decided I have no right to protect the seals while eating meat - not seals mind you - but only because they dont sell it in Sydney.
Im not entirely comfortable with this confession but clearly after 40 years of eating meat I am comfortable with the act.
Im sure it would be different if I had to do the killing myself.
...now theres a place I dont want to go.
