i just shoveled the walks...wearing only a tee shirt...sometimes i really do love calgary weather.

in other news, i helped a 90 year old woman change a light bulb in her apartment after work...the problem was that the light bulb was 10 feet up...so i got to use a rickety old step ladder with three steps to accomplish the task.
well, i did it, and lived...amazing story, no?
well, it made me happy to help her, and totally made my night.
to top it off...she gave me a piece of italian rum cake, which i will likely now consume. biggrin

hmmm. a while ago i tried to help a 60 yr old lady get her internet to work. thing is, i know nothing about windows 95 (or is it 96?... whatever) and i fucking loathe netzero and had no idea what i was doing.

so she got real upset with me, swore at her computer and told me she was going to bed. it was 8:30. i didnt get any cake.

bitch.
