So last month I attended the 420 Shootfest in Vancouver. I had never been to a shoot this large and honestly I was worried that there might have been personality clashes and a whole ton of drama. Thankfully it was a Drama Free Weekend, everyone got along well and lifelong friendships were made. This was definitely one of the best times I've ever had shooting and it reminded me why I love shooting for SG, the community. Girls from all walks of life coming together to love and support one another is an inspiring thing to see.
I have to give credit to @kezia for planning such an amazing weekend, and inviting Myself, @sirenerouge , @leemalee and @psypher to capture all of the craziness that was the 420 Shootfest.
With the days focused on shooting SG sets, it was the evenings where I got to hang out and get to know everyone. We all enjoyed huge meals together prepared by our in house chef. I had some great late night conversations in the kitchen with @psypher and they always ended with her standing on the counter, and she still couldn't reach the ceiling :) One of my favourite parts was hanging out in the Theatre watching movies late at night. @silvery thought to bring some movies with her so we hung out with @sarahmoon @leemalee @shibu for nightly hangs. And one of the more surreal moments came when @chalk gave me my first Dab, which was fitting because she's known as "ChalkDabs" on social media. I still can't believe that this is my life.
I could go on and on about that weekend but why don't I show you what we were up to?

I can't wait to see all of the sets the other photographers captured from these girls and I can't forget to mention @jessacat @elses @lizzibear and @zory who all shot new material there as well.
Sorry for the long winded blog but I'm really excited to show everyone these sets so I gotta get back to editing.
