I always get too introspective at New Years. So much emphasis on the passage of time and celebrating the turning of a page. I have a feeling that 2011 might bring with it some big changes, and although, like most of us, I do fear the unknown, but I am also hopeful. I am in a good place right now. I still fight the daily battles of my emotions and the struggle for happiness, but I also am surrounded by an extraordinary world. There is beauty at every turn, you just need to look for it.

I wish you all the ability to look for and to find the beauty that surrounds us in the new year. I wish you all the ability to find the extraordinary elements within the ordinary and mundane aspects of life.
