I am officially unemployed for the summer months. I thought public education would be free and clear of the economic hardships, but we got hit hard this year too.

So I made an investment in killing time today. I bought a fishing pole for $20. First one I've owned since I was 11. I figure if nothing else. It'll give me a reason to sit still and not get into too much trouble. I can't spend money I don't have if I'm down by the river.

Any anglers out there have advice for a newb New England fisher? Send it my way.
