Just to update, my face is healing, but its not so much my face as the whole side of my head that took the beating. However, I don't know why but due to the pain that is still engulfing my head, I couldn't open my mouth very wide so I couldn't really eat or laugh or yawn or like give head or anything... It was abit shit really. But I am as okay as I am going to get...
As you know Spurs were playing Arsenal yesterday. From what I gathered which was not much, one of them needed to win in order win a place in Europe...
*I should probably be corrected if I have any of that wrong...*
Sometimes in a bid to bond with my Dad I discuss whatever sport he is watching and it just happened to be football yesterday. I really only watch the world cup like most girls so I don't know much about it but I was talking to my Dad and he was explaining how the top four teams in the premiership make it into the champions league...
HOWEVER, last year Everton made the top four and Liverpool didn't but Liverpool still made it into the champions league and Everton, naturally enough were a bit ticked off and caused a scene (I don't know how that ended, five teams make it in now, I have no idea)...
So I asked my Dad why Liverpool made it in over Everton who clearly deserved it more according to the rules and he said "THEY WON!! " and I said "won what, the premiership?" and he said no and I asked if they had won the previous champions league and he said NO!! and then I asked if they had won the premiership the year before and that is when things turned ugly...
I became totally confused. I don't understand, how did they make it into anything if they didn't win anything...??
Now, my Dad is one of those tempermental types and one can only push him so far before he panics which happened rather quickly into the conversation and I just left it and continued with my FASHION ILLUSTRATION AND BRAND SPANKING NEW CAREER!!!!!!!!!
However, I am still confused. Because I don't get football at all, obviously and I like to get things...
So now, would someone please explain to me how Liverpool made the champoins league over Everton when they (liverpool) didn't win anything or deserve to be there???
Alot of what I said is probably all over the place and incorrect but I want you to remember, irrespective of my attention span being only about ten minutes long, I was recovering from my tangle with the lampost and doing ten other things at the time of the chat...
