People in Dublin don't say please and they won't say thank you but worst of all they never say sorry...
And lately, I've found myself over-compensating for those who say nothing to me when I let them on the bus ahead of me or I hold a door open or say anything when they skip the queue, they look at me full of shame and judgement because they know I am right to do what I do and they are wrong to be so ignorant.
When I'm doing a survey, I find myself over thanking people... "Thank you soooooooooooooo much for taking part, I am so grateful, you can't imagine it" " I am soooo gratious you took the time to chat to me for 20 minutes about your mobile phone network, I...WILL...NEVER...FORGET...THIS..."
I am insincere and fake and gushing, gushing with blood and deceit and crap and I don't mean a word of it, I just don't want people to think I'm a bitch who has no manners...
I dislike people who have no manners
and I miss Elizabeth...
Later...
