procreation is natural and people have the animal instinct to do it, therefore they just keep doing it, whether or not they should. Whether or not they can afford it. Whether or not they even care. I met a woman (in Milwaukee) the other day, who didn't know where the state of Wisconsin was on a map of the United States. This woman had five kids.
First of all - who the fuck NEEDS five children? Second of all what makes HER think that she can raise them all to be productive members of society? What is she bringing to the table? What does SHE think she can teach them? Does she even care? A life is such a big deal and so many people don't take that shit seriously.
And so people keep having babies. And those babies have more babies and those babies have more babies. Earlier and earlier in their lives, even. So babies are having more babies and old people are being kept alive to stimulate the economy. Both are pretty much useless and yet they're allowed to take up space, breathe the air, eat the food, and (in a lot of cases) live financially off of others.
The world is so over-populated and so wasteful that we have the ability to use up all of its resources in the next few decades. I just heard they're thinking about drilling for oil in Africa, because oil is where we get most of our energy and here it is running out - because it doesn't last for-fucking-ever! FUCKING DUH!!!!!
The world is going to keep spawning seaguls and the seaguls will keep spawning seaguls. And there will always be a thousand of them fighting over french fries in the McDonald's parking lot, but there will never be enough french fries. And then we're gonna run out of potatoes.
We're fucked. I just hope it happens in my life time. I'd love to be there to see it.
