Happy Holidays! That lovely wintery time is upon us and this year my mom and I did some crafty stuffs before Thanksgiving so we could have it for Christmas this year! Our wreath we made is actually going to end up being a compilation of all the characters from our first book If A Peacock Finds A Pot Leaf, Though some of our characters are a bit hard to find during the holiday season (Scarlett the Spider, Cletis the Camel, Rocco the Rhino) so we've decided to make it an ongoing project that we'll add to as the years come until it's done!
We also revamped the Christmas tree we've had ever since I was little - My mom got it at a convention back when she had her flowershop along with some special stockings we have had since the same time as well. It's ironic and fitting because my totem animal is a bear. You can also probably spot some of the ornaments I made as a kid (the one-eyed Rudolph, and there's a snowman to the right from like '98). Through all the craziness my life has gone through over the last 3 years, and I don't even know how many moves, I'm SO thankful that these few things were kept close, because we lost a lot of our holiday things that were sentimental in our cross-country move unfortunately, things that had been passed down in our family.. But that's why we're making new things, and keeping others to continue that tradition in a new way. And even though it's usually just my mom and I for the holidays one day when I have kids we'll have a big family to celebrate!
We also had a bomb ass Thanksgiving, and I know I'm a little late late on the @bloghomework "What are you thankful for this year?" But I was thankful to get my half sleeve started this Thanksgiving (2 days before) it is my first color piece, and is the start to a whole watercolor half sleeve that I'm so excited to see once it's finished! Here's a shot I took RIGHT when I got home after!
I was also truly grateful and thankful for the basics this year, a roof over my head which was questionable 2 years prior, and a bunch of yummy delicious foods that I primarily made all from scratch! But this year I was mainly proud of my stuffing, I made a delicious homemade fresh herb stuffing this year so let your mouths water:

Putting this bitch in the oven!
Herby-deliciousness
& Twice baked mashed potato casserole of sorts (was really yummy!)
I was fat this year :3
OM NOM NOM NOM
So while it may be something simple to be thankful for, I was thankful to watch movies and TV with my mom while eating all the yummy foods I spent literally 4-5 hour making, and we had hella dabs too, and I'm always thankful for dabs <3 And of course all the lovely members, and fellow ladies on the site who've been SO supportive in my first year on the site. You're all amazing and I can't wait to share even better sets in 2016!
& to rope this all in with an update blog I also recently shot for an upcoming cannabis site with @lizlynn so here's a sneak at that:
Also, since I can't remember the last time I've posted about it, I still have Prints available through Etsy
And a quick throwback from when @904alvin and I shot what was meant to be a Christmas set for SG but the queue got so hectic, so I'm thinking I might just do a "days of xmas countdown" releasing a photo a day from now until Christmas? Here's the first one:
I also saw Krampus this year, and while I was kinda not expecting it to be good, it actually really was! Like don't expect a legit horror movie, it's scary santa.. I mean come on, but it had some good laughs and overall a great message and ending, and movie endings are a make or break for me, so I would totally recommend seeing it for the holiday even! Plus look at the poster, it's super dope! (My boyfriend's friend works at the theater and is gonna try to get us the movie poster, so we can have it for our room/house one day.
&Since this is a mix of an update/blog homework @rambo @missy @lyxzen
