I hope all my fellow 'mericans had a lovely and safe fourth of July. There was a burn ban enacted out here in the PNW so a lot of areas weren't even legally aloud to be setting off fireworks. My boyfriend's family is SUPER into the fourth and do a huge family BBQ and set of fireworks all night usually, this year was a bit more toned down and we mainly played card games (if you haven't played BOSS MONSTER, you need to!!!) board games, caught up with my boyfriend's brother, and his boyfriend. and then my boyfriend's brother's boyfriend (confusing as fuck I know) teamed up and won two rounds of Shadow Hunters, which is a bad ass board game if you were wondering. Anyways we set off some fireworks, not nearly as many as previous years, and then my babe and I headed inside and he fell asleep in my lap and it was just a really good time, normally I don't like 4th of July at all, I had one of the worst nights of my life the 3rd/4th of July and left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth for the holiday, but honestly any time I spend with my boyfriend can make shitty times amazing, and this holiday was no exception.
