Why yes, yes I am! So this week @missy @rambo @lyxzen assigned "What are you afraid of?" as the @bloghomework and I kinda have a long list that ranges from the obvious, to the more... peculiar?
-Spiders - I know I've seen a lot of ladies with this one on their list, because what the hell needs that many legs? They're creepy as fuck, and the way they scurry is almost alien-like... Ironically enough my bestfriend's nickname is Spider, and she had a pet tarantula at one point (that I never met)
-Darkness - Darkness lurks in the dark, where things are very.. dark. Yeah I just don't like the dark, which probably pairs with my fear of the unknown, if I can't see what's ahead of me, it gives me a weird sense of anxiety. Also hate sleeping in a dark room if I'm alone and will usually end up sleeping with the blankets over my head, like a little nerd. :3
-Needles - Ok this one doesn't make sense right? I'm on an alternative modeling site, with girls covered in tattoos, so presumably I probably want a bunch more tattoos, which requires getting poked with lots of needles, correct, and correct! But for whatever reason I'm totally ok with getting poked by needles if I end up with something pretty in the end! Plus I usually have weeks/months to prepare for a new piercing/tattoo, as opposed to going to the hospital or something and they just jab left and right.
-Saw Movies - ...... This is serious guys, lol. I watched the second saw movie in like 4th grade one day when I stayed home from school with my mom.... WORST IDEA EVER, I ended up being terrified to fall asleep for 3 months because I thought Jigsaw was gonna come get me in my sleep and put me in one of his little trap rooms, to this day I refuse to watch any of the Saw movies, and the second one is still the only one I've seen, along with bits and pieces of the fourth, but yeah... UGH.
-Under The Bed - I've always been afraid of what's under the bed. But it's actually a big fear of mine, even though consciously I know there's no monster under the bed! I still jump on to the bed pretty far from where anything could grab my ankles or anything (lol, I'm actually not kidding) when I come in my room at night, or if I have to get up in the middle of the night and come back. Or like that scene from Chuckie, with the Achilles heel, UGH. I also barricade myself in my bed, and by that I mean I sleep with pillows lining the entire side of the bed so that nothing can grab me from the side, it got to the point that my boyfriend needed more space on the bed, and he finally broke down and told me "it's cute and all, but nothing is gonna get you from under the bed babe" lol... I removed the pillow for like a week, it's back now.
-Veins - this is probably my weirdest fear.. I don't really even know how to go about explaining this one. But basically they're just gross. I don't like the word, I don't like talking about them, looking at them, even writing about them now is making me squirmish.. They're just gross.. also white blood cells, red blood cells, arteries, all just not things I wanna hear about, it's honestly amazing I love Grey's Anatomy so much, because I could seriously never do surgery!
-Home Invasions- I've never had my house broken into, but have always had a very strange fear of people breaking into my house. I totally believe in past lives so have always wondered if maybe it's cell memory from a past life. But since I was a little girl most nightmares I've remembered are of home invasion in some form or another.
And on a more personal note my two greatest fears are probably losing the people closest to me, and people I love. and never finding my dad. I grew up with no contact with my father and know very minimal information, and have a couple photos, though I've done just fine without knowing him all my life, it's still something I've always hoped I'd be able to do, I have so many questions to ask him and I'd hate to miss out on that chance, so that's honestly probably my biggest fear of all.
