So it was brought to my attention that someone wrote a blog that included my book, by the time I looked at it it'd already been shared 3,000 times. Awesome! I always like to see what people think, or their opinions, favorite characters, lines, etc. But instantly when I read the headline for this particular blog "Top 20 most inappropriate children's books EVER" I just giggled to myself. I already knew what I was getting into - probably written by some bible thumping, PTA soccer mom who lives in an illegal state and therefore is too busy or just too ignorant to look into the fact that there are over 20 states that have legalized medical marijuana, (23 in fact) and 4 who have legalized cannabis recreationally. So obviously when this poor misinformed woman made her witty remark about "I'd love to read the follow up If A Peacock Gets CAUGHT With a Pot Leaf" she hadn't done very much research! If she would've taken her head out of the sand long enough to use the Google search engine, she would've known that there is a follow up to If A Peacock Finds A Pot Leaf - It's calledIf A Peacock Discovers Hemp Island! If she would've done her research she would've also seen that many states are "going green" and it's only a matter of time before prohibition of cannabis is no more. & it's People like that aren't going to know what to do with themselves when it happens!
Aside from that little tid-bit I haven't been on in the last 2-3 days but to check notifications, as I'm being a lazy butt! I already got spoiled for Christmas when my lovely boyfriend took me to Gamestop and told me to pick out a new 3DS (my DS was stolen last year when we had too many people over for hempfest weekend) I picked out what the guy behind the counter said was "purple" but it's a limited edition Persona Q 3DSXL and it's absolutely beautiful! Looks like a tarot card, and for my witchy bitchy ass, it's perfection! Also, right after Christmas I will be heading out with my uber rad photographer @904alvin to Portland, and hopefully with have an opportunity to shoot a set with a couple of beautiful hopefuls: @princesssailor and maybe even @kismit_ Should be shooting lots to submit in the new year! I'm a bit hesitant to blog it, but I think my goal or "new years resolution" (Is it too early for that?) is to try to achieve going PINK this year <3 It would make my 2015 one for the books. So fingers crossed, it's a long ways off. But luckily - My debut set "A PNW Summer" is not, it's officially only a month and a half away!!!!
