So I had a very interesting weekend - after getting over a pretty gross cold (courtesy of my boyfriend working at a casino) I had two shoots planned on the same day one of which was shooting a set for SG.
New hair color = new set, yay! *My new profile picture is a little preview*
So my amazing photographer @904alvin found the perfect location - a beautiful river with some fallen trees, such a serene and goregous nature setting. We started our shoot with lots of giggles and sillyness, and about halfway through - I'm down to my undies, and we get a text saying "cops get dressed now" so as soon as we read that I hopped down from the fallen tree (extremely carefully) and ran over to put a shirt on (threw it on backwards even) and put my shorts back on almost just in the nic of time! Two cops and a wildlife wildreness ranger come walking out from behind the trees and asked if we're naked. and knowing they can ask to look at the photos I reply with "well partially" (I was still in my undies before so I wasn't lying!) Asked what we were taking the pictures for, or if they're pornographic in nature, to which we replied absolutely not.. They then continued to ask my photographer "how do you get into this" "I'd sure love to take pictures of beautiful naked women too" checked our ID's and said they'd allow us to continue on as we realistically weren't disturbing anyone or doing anything wrong. All the police officers agree we'd picked the perfect spot for the shoot - off the beaten path, beautiful river, perfect setting all around. They just had to come out because someone'd called ad they needed to make sure no one was a "victim"
After they left the river apparently before they got in their cars and left my boyfriend (who was sitting in his car still waiting for us to finish) overheard them flipping eachother shit saying "Oh we can't get you to wake up early for a domestic violence call but naked girl in the woods and everyone shows up" Haha, so moral of the story is, if you're ever in real danger just tell the cops there's a naked girl in the woods lol. Not only did the cops show up, (two cops in fact) but a sheriff, and two wildlife rangers.
Aside from the great story, I truly think this will be a great set! I honestly feel like I've improved quite a bit in the short time from shooting my debut set. I hope my photographer won't kill me for posting a few preview photos as they're still unedited. But I'm so excited I can't not share!
*Also I'd love to title this set something silly to go with the story: "There's a naked girl in the woods", or "Copper Creek"? Ideas?
