So, Scotland! It's cool. Tonight after dinner with my family I met a dude in Shetland who loves the Gaslight Anthem- one of my favorite bands these days- and is starting a band. He's got a few songs together and is gonna email them to me, hopefully spread the word. Must be tough to be a punk in Shetland. He said I was like one of the first people he's met who even knows who Gaslight are!

Also, I met an online friend in Aberdeen. Nice to finally meet in person!


Oh, and I bought this ins Edinburgh for 8. Pretty stoked on it.


Uh, let's see. That said, Shetland is kind of dull. Quiet, I guess. There's gonna be more happening in the next few days, so it'll pick up, but the last day and a half have seen my brothers and I trying to find something to do with ourselves.

I generally opt for sampling whiskies. Ah, I do enjoy this culture!

If there are any Shetland folk around SG- or UK folk reading this who want to get up to Aberdeen or Edinburgh next week- hit me up. I need suggestions on what to do and/or drinkin' buddies.
