Shit, man. I just watched You Think You Really Know Me: The Gary Wilson Story, a documentary about- duh- Gary Wilson. For those who don't know, Gary's this cat from Endicott, NY, who back in the '70s, wrote and recorded this album, You Think You Really Know Me, in his parents' basement. This album is a complete fucking trip. You gotta hear it. I can't even begin to describe it. Jim Mahfood drew a comic about it for B-Side: A Music Lover's Anthology; you can check it here.
More important, though, is for you to check out his album. It's just so out there, and so very awesome. I can't get over it. I got the album a few days ago and I can't stop playing it. "6.4=Make Out" is so creepy and so amazingly great. You guys, you gotta hear this. Do it. Now.
