Two pages of comments for the first time, and it only took three weeks!
So yeah, I had a great time on my trip as well. Stayed in Holland and Belgium the whole time because they were small and easy to get around, but also because there was just so much to see and I didn't want to go anywhere else. Here's the agenda:
Three days in Amsterdam, which were really fun and I was staying in the Red Light District as well, so even better. Coffeeshops literally everywhere and the women standing in their booths trying to get you to spend money on them. I passed because I was told on my first day there that not all of them are women.
Rotterdam next, and I saw my friend Jeroen who I haven't seen in 4 years, so that was really cool. Rotterdam is much like an American city with its skyscrapers and whatnot. They have these really cool cubic houses that are quite famous as well whcih I'll show you when I get around to posting some of the pictures (there are over 500, so give me some time to sort through them).
Middleburg was next; and it is one of those old European cities that are built around the church that you see in movies. Really small yet really nice and medeival.
Then Antwerp, which was my favorite of the trip. I could've spent the whole time there. The people were really nice, and the beer was even better. I think the waitresses took a shine to me when I was there, but then again I was drinking and was probably just having delusions.
On to Brussels, which is basically like your big European city - modern buildings built around older buildings. Their Notre Dame cathedral was amazing though. Absolutely huge. The churches remind you of how passionate people used to be about Christ and God. Oh yeah, the Grote Markt in Brussels is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
Gent is a medeival city which is also a big student city so it's got this nice energy to it. It's built around canals to so it's nice to walk around and just look at everything. Or take a boat if you're lazy.
Back to Holland and I visited Delft and The Hague. It was raining pretty hard that day but we still managed to walk around and see some sites and have fun. And then I just chilled out the last couple days.
I'll post some interesting stories if I think of them, rather, remember, but for now I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and I will get back with all of you. Thanks for the comments though, and I'll see you all soon - if you'll be at the show on Wednesday....
