thanks for all the birthday wishes, y'all! i'm the big two-oh, i guess. i celebrated by getting incredibly blitzed and fighting with my guy. there was make-up sex, so it was all good in the hood.

i also got a new tattoo on the inside of my left wrist. it says "The Lord's" in cursive and it was my daddy's fadder's day present. it was his first tattoo. i found out after i showed it to him that he actually got it a few days after i was born, so it was like we were celebrating its 20th anniversery. wheee! i've had a few people already ask me if it is some sort of declaration of my christianity, which of course it isn't since i'm not christian. but i don't mind questions, especially ones like that, since it can be kinda misleading to people who don't know me.

oh, i ended up getting a B+ in that research class and A's in everything else. i'm proud of me.

today was my first day of the internship. everything seems a little foreign and overwhelming but i'm excited about my work, even though i really REALLY miss my family and my boy. i guess i can catch up on...um...quality alone time, or something. i dunno.

anyway, i have to finish my online bloodborne pathogens training. one love, bitches.
