I'm so happy that winter is finally coming to an end, and the warm weather will be arriving shortly. I'm looking forward to this summer since my daughter will be turning two, we won't be moving house again, and I'll be seeing Rush and Dave Matthews Band. Rush, I'm looking most forward to concert-wise, because it sounds like it's going to be their last major tour. Neil Peart, their drummer, also has a young daughter at home and wants to see her grow up. I definitely don't blame him since he lost his daughter and his first wife a year apart several years ago. I'm glad I've been able to see Rush four times previously since they put on one hell of a show.
It's been about three years since I last since a major rock concert, which was Rush finally enough. Last year I saw a country concert (my fiance loves country, me not so much and the year before that, an Eagles tribute band in the park, and The Winery Dogs at a club in Cincinnati (which kicked ass by the way). I'll be glad to go to these concerts, but I'm not going to go to a lot of concerts this year. I think I'm just getting too old for my age and the fact that I'm a full time parent. Hopefully, i won't be telling kids to quit skateboarding in the park anytime soon!
