It's been a weird month. I've been sick for a lot of it, but I also have had some good times. The bad part of the cold I had went away, except I still cough occasionally. I went to my friend Jesse's Birthday party out in Cincinnati last weekend and had a hell of a time, even though I was still pretty stuffy. Jesse has been building a studio for his band in his basement and its really nice. He has some very snazzy recording equipment and he has actually been scoring some short films. He's also the best drummer that I know personally, so I felt a little out of place when I did some jamming that night with my band mate Brad, who also came to the party. I feel a little disappointed that Jesse has his shit together when it comes to bands, and me and Brad's band feels like a little dog and pony operation compared to Jesse. Brad can be a little unreliable at times and we still haven't had a decent bass player who wants to stay in for the long haul for the two years we've been up and running. Being in a band can be like being in a soap opera sometimes. Oh well. Other than that, I had a hell of a time at the party. I met some cool new friends and even though Brad can be unreliable in the band situation, he is still one of my best friends personally, so I had fun hanging out with him.

Also my vacation at "Chuck" Norris Lake in Tennessee is only a few weeks ago, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
