It's official: The Volume of Silence is sponsoring Seattle Weekly's 2006 Music Awards. We're giving away the Grand Prize, a merchandise and design service package worth well over $25,000 to the band with the most votes. Vote before April 29th for your favorite band to win this awesome package, or, if you're going to be in Seattle, vote for your chance to win VIP access and hang out with us at the Music Showcase featuring 50 bands and 10 DJs in a festival format on April 29th. Voters at the Showcase will also have a chance to win invitations to the Awards Party held May 9th, where you could hang out with all of the bands on the voting ballot. We're also throwing in a couple shirts and stuff, too.

We'll be out there for both events, a few days before and after... So please come by and hang out with us.

This is pretty fucking amazing for my group and The Volume of Silence -- the entire contest is to announce our plans to open up a studio in Seattle later this year... So please check it out and let us know what you think!
