fuck my bank. fuck the post office. fuck EDD.
all these places have caused me distress in one day.
1. THE BANK
To make a VERY long story short, I spend all day calling them getting told different information every time, and not getting what they assured me i would get only to find out the correct information 20 minutes before closing for the next three days and find out that there is a $10 fee for "generating a letter." oh im sorry i thought letters were written, NOT FUCKING GENERATED!!! i hung up on them. the actual details of this story would prove even more that my bank licks asshole but to be quite honest, i don't care to waste time writing any more about it.
2. THE POST OFFICE
i put in a request to have my mail forwarded effective 1/1/04. i finally got a confirmation a week or so ago, yet i still haven't received any mail. why? well i called the post office and they are running 3 weeks behind on forwarded mail. no apology whatsoever. what was one of those pieces of mail? my boyfriend's EDD check that we're using as our source of funds while we re-locate. which brings me to the third...
3. EDD
God bless the unemployment development department with their inability to process questions and information through electronic mail. fuckers. i called and called all day and all i heard is: we are above or maximum number of callers. please try back later. the last time we tried calling we even got all the way up to "hit 0 to speak to a representative" only to be re-directed back to the same message again.
There are certain things in the world that can be handled easily. without hassle, without mis-information, without feeling violent. Apparently the three associations above do not think as clearly as they should be able to. And for that, I've wasted a day of time, which at this particular juncture in my life, is quite precious.
Just wait until i tell you about the bullshit that i went through at the DMV a couple days before we left cali. you won't believe your fucking ears. I don't think im even at the point where the discust has worn off enough to discuss it.

Yeop, I found out from their website. I am totally there, oh man.
Yeah, I am just getting ready for a move as well, though I am sorta a gypsy, so it is easier for me to move, I do it a lot. But, yeah, good luck and all.
