so, kat, calvin, and i went to knoxville this evening. we dropped the homo off with his sister and we did kat's birthday dinner at the melting pot. we ate so fucking much that i really thought i was going to puke when we left. but i didn't spend a hundred bucks on that shit to waste food, so i didn't. can you tell i grew up in a relatively poor family? i was like, "WASTE FOOD?! NO!" anyway, that was wonderful. and then we went in the shitty weather to see one imogen heap, who i've been a fan of since my freshman year in college (thank you, marky). she's lost something since her first album, intensity i guess, like maybe she pulled a tori and got happy, but she has an amazing voice and it was really great to see her live. she played "come here boy," and "let go," both of which were... eh. i have a video of the latter--uploading it to youtube right now. i'll put it up later. she asked for requests at some point and i yelled "angry angel," but it didn't happen. she stuck to stuff from her new (shitty) album. oh well. pictures.
a bunch of shitty lighting, and then i finally got up close. after the show was over, i was like, "hmm, let's go stand by the bus." and then we did. and then i saw a group of people over near the stage, and there she was. so i finally got some good shots.
ps: yeah, i met her. YAY!

Is that what happened? I heard it was either that she got happy or that she got drug-free. Either way, it didn't really work, unfortunately.
