CDS9: my lamp just sort of exploded
Rachel: Whoa.
Rachel: Like howso?
CDS9: i heard this pop, and figured the bulb blew
CDS9: so i go look at it
CDS9: it's hanging there by one of the two wires, and the glass is intact but blew off the metal screw base
CDS9: and it blew the threads of the globe it was in too
CDS9: so they were both hanging there by a wire
CDS9: it's a floor lamp, with a little branch that has a small light on the end of it
CDS9: the little one blew
CDS9: i think it blew because the bigger one on top had gone out a day or three ago and i never replaced it
CDS9: overloaded the other
Rachel: Haha, wow.. That's still kinda crazy.
CDS9: yeah
Rachel: For some reason I just pictured some sort of covert lamp assassination.
CDS9: hahahaha
Rachel: Mini ninja gnome things sneak in unnoticed, slay your lamp, and make a hasty, silent retreat. Makes sense to me.
CDS9: yeah, i think that's what happened
