Hey everyone, havent posted in a few days, I have been sick (again) and my back has been driving me crazy, the constant coughing and sneezing isnt helping, but hopefully I am on the mend

So I filed my taxes the other day, and come to find out that his mom filed for my son this year too, in our decree of paternity it states she can claim him for the odd tax years, and I claim him the even, but she can only claim him if she is caught up on child support ( she is currently about 4000 in arrears) so I have no idea how she thought she could possibly claim him this year, plus its not even her year, oh well a simple call to the IRS to prove he has lived with me for all or most of 2012 was all I needed to do, not only do I claim him this year, she is either going to have to pay back what she got in return or if she hasnt gotten a refund yet, she is going to have to ammend her return, I hate being a dick like that, but when you basically dont ever want to see your kid, refuse to work, get food stamps for having a kid that doesnt even live with you, and dont pay any child support, then I dont think you have the right to reap any benefits of having a kid, I just dont think its right when people try to get something for nothing! ok thats the end of my rant.
