Update on last post.
She is back home, and on the mend, with lots of medications and a new regimented lifestyle to follow.
She also found out she has an inactive thyroid and high cholesterol, basically the food party is over.
she seems to feel a lot healthier since her stay in the hospital, and we agreed we would find a behavioral therapist for her dog and his trust issues of occasionally biting.
We are certain that he bit her because he felt something wrong, otherwise she would have had a stroke that day or the next with her blood pressure at 200.
She is also looking into local services to get medical assistance and help with her medication cost.
the reason she did not previously have state assisted medical was due to a issue with the law/government and a crime committed 20 years ago regarding restitution of previous funds. long story...
though i am still not continuing a relationship with my sister or her immediate family, she is now pitching in and helping my mother out with her appointments and errands, as she should.

It's good your mom is home now, it sounds like you are doing the best for her and that is all you can do. Stay strong.

Maxi, I was sadden to learn of Your mother's health sufferings; but I an optimistic by the good news You have shared about Your mother's improved health condition!!!!!
