I hate being under the weather. i had the worst cold this weekend, my nose got chapped, taking Tylenol sinus, broke out the old Vicks Vaporizer, and some throat lozenges, but my appetite was still there thank goodness, and thank god i had Chicken soup in the freezer from my last and 3rd batch of the season.
So Sunday we were watching a marathon of Man VS Food, and oh boy was i hungry, we decided to go to Genos Steaks, and we also toted some Tupperware for the red pepper sauce and cherry peppers, I'm not a huge fan of cheese steaks but occasionally i dabble. then i stopped at the Dunkin Doughnuts too.
why not just go all the way in gluttony.
some shots from Columbus
I'm all better now and can finally have dairy again, funny how when your supposed to stay away from something you crave it even more. I guess that is kinda like men with women and monogamy.
Going to the Car show tomorrow night, not really in the mood to, but Ant really wants to go so it will be an entertaining night out and away from the TV.
Speaking of Ant, since there has been questions on update about him and I.
We have been doing well since November, I think we are both making an honest effort to be a little more understanding to each other and not react so quickly to potential arguments. We had really good holidays, i also think the initial head shaving process was a sort of bond for us, it was an intimate and trusting event. getting his approval and asking him to do it seemed to bring us closer.
I told him recently that February has been a disaster for us in the past, almost every February we have gotten our self wound up in Seasonal depression and divided even more so, I think bringing this fact out in the open is making us both more aware and more eager to change the cycle, so we are making a bigger effort to be sweeter to each other despite the Winter blues and the come down off of the holidays that usually happens.
Valentines day...I know most people are swearing it off, and find it ridiculous, but i have always loved it, prob more so because i love the girley decorations and frilly themes that seem to be everywhere due to it being highly commercialized.
we are doing a really nice brunch instead of dinner out on the Sunday after the 14th.
I hate prefix menus they push on you on V-day.
were going to the same spot we went to for my birthday.
i think we will just hit a movie for V-day and cook at home, like we did last year.
