The perfect portrait metamorphosis
Yesterday I finally had time to sit down and take a portrait of myself posing with my new/used camera. Funny the usual stuff we toss out before we get one image that we are satisfied with usually goes forgotten. I was ready to delete but i could here my complaints of each image ring in my head, and somehow thought they were comical, could be the start of insanity. Anyway here are the 8 along with the complaints in my head.
1. 1st shot, Thighs look too wide
2. Lets try it in B/W, but shadows too dark on left side. and this shirt is not flattering either.
3. Bad Crop. and shadow still sucks.
4. Better Location , Too Soft, and that god damn coffee sack has got to go.
5. now I'm not centered.
6.Centered but so stiff, too formal and not really indicative of me.
7. Ya great, now i have more personality, but now i hate my hair!
8. Bam! Just how i want it, Introducing my New/Used Bronica SQ A!
Now i have to figure out how the damn thing works, thank god i got the manual.

I do self shots about the same way. I critique them until I find the perfect one.
