Well, so i'm down here in South Korea. Weird...it still hasn't sunk in yet that i'm actually here, though it's undeniable every time i look out the window. I sorta feel like i'm stuck in the world's largest China Town...or rather Korea Town. And in many ways i am...Seoul has nearly 20 million people!!!! Crazy.
The flight down here was pretty damn long, but i managed it well i think. I am pretty much over jet lag at this point and have begun trying to live and work here.
The students really seem to like me i think. I was worried that my size would scare them away, but fortunately they've seem to have taken a liking to it. Apparently a new game has sprung up around me where they crowd around me and try and jump to see how high they can get on my body haha. It's very weird and i kinda feel like i'm an animal at the zoo ro some sort of circus exhibit.
So i got through my first day teaching by myself today and i think i did allright. Unfortunately i also seem to lost my voice. Un-fucking-believable! One of the biggest things about this job and i don't have it on the first day i need it! I'll get over it though..in time.
I'll be online only intermintenly for the next two weeks until i move into another place where it will make sense to get the internet. Until then, i'd like to catch up on everybody's stuff, but it will be hard. I hope life is treating everyone on my friend's list well. Peace out!

you at Osan or Kunsan, it sounds (and looks from the pics) like Kunsan, but can't be sure. Anyway, I was at the Kun from 02-03 and am going back to the ROK (to Osan this time) from 05-06, so give me a holler if there's anything I can help ya with.
