Wow, there's a lot of love on this site...and a lot of drama sometimes. In fact some of the drama around here almost made me want to cancel my membershi, but then all the support and love came pouring in with my whole vegetarian thing so i'll be sticking around for a while. All you peepz here rule!
So it's a week into it and i'm not feeling any temptation yet so that's all good.
My friend Phil finally came back from Iraq. He was there from the buildup in Kuwait through the war and occupation and is finally home. Hearing him talk about the war is quite interesting stuff. He feels that it really sucked him going over there and losing a whole year of his life to what basically amounts to a big lie, but at the same time he's got a lot of pride in his accompolishments and what he did there. He hopes that the things he did will help make Iraq a better place in the future and i hope so too. He's also very glad and lucky that he was never under direct enemy fire and that his company only had one casualty the entire thing. All in all he came back from it a better person in many regards and i'm happy for him. It was also really amazing having him and a bunch of highschool friends together again after over a year apart.
The weather here is also getting better slowly but surely. You have no idea how nice it is to be able to go outside and not be freezing your ass off. A very nice feeling indeed.
Oh well, i'm getting off here and going to play some HALO which is teh best game evar!!!!111one
