I've heard it said that quitting smoking is as easy as it is to start flossing...
I've started flossing.
So that means i'm halfway there right?
In other news, i found this awesome Grad School Program that i think would be totally kick ass called the Masters of Entertainment Technologies Program at CMU
It's approximately $15,000/semester which is probably more than i can afford, but the stuff it sounds like they do there is just incredible. It's virtually too late for me to enroll now, but if i take the next year or so to teach myself some stuff, expand on a portfolio, and save some $ then i might be able to swing it. And with a CMU degree, i could get any job i wanted... More importantly though i'd be able to rectify within myself the fact that i didn't go when i was accepted after highschool were i to get accepted in the near future.
Hmmm..now to start getting cracking on doing me some home learning.
--Learn html or some sort of basic programming stuff
--Teach myself some basic design principles
--Polish up in Photograpy
--Finally take some real art classes (figure drawing, painting etc...) and get some real education in it as opposed to my self taught style
--Get off my ass and dedicate myself to bettering myself
I'm already pretty intuitive on many of the above mentioned creative things but without formal training or inspired learning i can only go so far. Hopefully i can..time will tell...and my determination.
These are the things i must push myself to do in order to do what i must do.
edit--i just noticed that my comment number 1984 is about politics. I need to take a shower now....*shivers*
Edit #2--now that it's officially the 27th here, i'd like to wish all the American SG's a Happy Thanksgiving. And to those who read this that aren't American, it would be cool if you just took a moment out of your day to appreciate the things you are thankful for and forget at least for a moment all the shitty stuff going on around ya. Also, have a good dinner.

I'm guessing it tastes like nothing much. C'mon, it's soy.

I keep telling myself they'll be going home soon. That usually gets me through.
