Fantastic 4: The Rise of the Silver Surfer is a LOT better than i thought it would be. I wouldn't call it good, but it's fun and watchable.
In other news....
Back in Korea for another year it looks like. Seems to be going pretty well so far.
St. Paddy's day was a bit of a blur... Shouldn't it always be that way though?
Goodbye cigarettes; hello Zyban. I figured out that i couldn't quit smoking on my own so i enlisted the help of chemicals. People tell me this is the first step on the way to recovery from addiction (admitting you have a problem and can't solve it yourself) and while i know that intellectually, it didn't occur to me until other people said it that it was what i was doing. It seems to be working pretty damn well for mee so far. I totally don't want a cigarette unless i'm realllly drunk and even then it's only a few. The only side affects are nasty little headaches if i forget to take a pill; a general feeling of happiness and well being; and wicked-awesome dreams. The only thing i'm worried about is what happens once i stop taking them....
Going home for a month was pretty grand. Good ol' recharging the batteries/catching up with friends/seeing family is always a hectic treat.
While home I:
1) Saw my cute-as-hell niece (and actually made it to her b-day party)
2) Met my itty bitty baby nephew
3) Witnessed the complete and irreversible ending of two of my oldest friends' friendship with each other (I mean seriously, who the hell abandons a friend after they attempt suicide?)
4) Confirmed my commitment to come back in November to be the best man at my best friend's wedding
A) Got a wicked hot date for the wedding
5) Went to a bar which had the Girls Gone Wild Party Bus parked outside
A) Realized that girls don't get that wild in Pittsburgh
a) Honestly though...we left before midnight so maybe they got wilder
6) Saw my grandma for the first time iin 4 or 5 years
A) Heard the delightfully old biggotted comment of: "All i knew about Bloomberg was that he was a Jew, so i didn't pay any attention to him."
B) Did I mention she's like 85? Old people say some whack shizzle
7) I'm sure i could think of something else to put in here, but I think i should join my coworkers for happy hour which they'll invariably be at on a Friday
Tomorrow is the Seoul Veggie Club's Pot Luck Dinner Party which i'll eagerly be attending though i'm not entirely sure what i'll be making yet
This is the best update i've had in month. Wow...it's just flows right off the fingertips. Anyways, peace out mammy jammies and I hope you're all doing swell.
