Bonjou mes amis! Au jourdhui, je suis en Toronto. C'est magnifique, mais il fait tres, tres froid. Ok, enough French (and only partly because i'm having trouble thinking of anything else to say )
Wow....Canada. Toronto is a mere hour away from Pittsburgh but it feels like it's lightyears.
Today, I went to the CN Tower, had a coffee and maple donut at Tim Hortons, froze my ass off, bought a tooque (or however the hell you spell those things) and had a great time hanging with my friends from Korea Jess and D'Arce.
Hooray for Canada.
The CN tower is very large and at night in snowy weather resembles a UFO. It is also very, very tall and gives a rather commanding view of all the very, very flat land and sprawl of this city.
Tim Hortons hs almost taken on mysthical porportions with me based on the ravings of my Canadian friends in Korea. So today i checked it out. The coffee is somewhat better than average and the maple donut was fantastic. According to my friend Jess, we were in the fanciest Tim Horton's she's ever seen.
It's cold in Canada. Very, very cold. This weather report brought to you by the phrase: "Duh!" My head was hurting fromt he cold so i had to go and buy a tooque which is like a tossle cap but with ear flaps. It helped un beaucoup.
For dinner, we went to this place called Vegetarian Haven. It was fucking good! I have a vegan "salmon" burger which was enormous and just to die for. I'm really having a super time here.
Oops, I almost forgot about passing by the much talked about Much TV studios! It was pretty much lok there. Hehehe. <--it's late and i'm outta funny.
