I love technology! I just went out and bought a 2.5", 120G, USB 2.0 powered portable hard drive. It's a little bigger than my wallet and weighs only a few more ounces but holds so much info! It's blazing fast too! I can transfer 2G of files in only 3-4 minutes. After this weekend i should have so much more free space on my laptop....

Well, it's definitely not going to stick. We had a really mild summer with only a few hot weekends, so I figured we might have a longer, colder winter. Still, the only area that gets snow in late October that actually sticks is the U.P. This stuff is the kind that melts as soon as the sun comes up. It made for a really pretty morning, though. 
I love the first few snowfalls, when everything is covered in ice and glittery snow. It makes the world look like a magical fairy land.

Yeah, that's my biggest concern, that no one will keep in touch. It's not like I'm that super-close with most of them, but at the big get-togethers they're fun to hang around with. Still, there's always the new arrivals at the end of the summer!
(Speaking of profiles and formats ... what were they thinking here?!? It's like a nightmare wrapped in a plague surrounded by a headache! I'm going to wait a couple days before updating my info, in the hopes they restore Profile Classic.)
