Back home after a few days away...glad to be back. I like Atlanta, even though it's weird in some ways; I divorced about 6 months ago, and most of my friends were "lost" in the separation. It's a strange thing, and I realize that it's difficult for couples that were shared as friends, etc...but still, it's weird. I have work friends and some very old pre-marriage friends left; that's about it. Well....not completely true. A few enlightened folks that can deal with it. They are most appreciated!!!
Not too much going on this week, but I'm going to see Peter Murphy in Asheville with my girlfriend next week!! Very much looking forward to it! Peter Murphy is a favorite from WAY back, and I've never seen him live before! Should be fun! I'm looking forward to checking out the venue (Orange Peel, Asheville, NC) as well....it sounds pretty sweet. May be a good backup for situations where shows don't show up in the ATL.
