New job is going well... I was observed yesterday and everyone seems super impressed with me!

Jay brought me home flowers a few days ago just because. He's the best.

I've been enjoying some cornbread. I've also been eating a lot more salad.

I'm going home to Merced to see my Sister, brother-in-law and their kids. The two oldest kids are in a ballet recital so Jay and I will go watch them tonight. I figure we will get there and see the family, then Jay and I will get some dinner..... and... I will have the opportunity to go into the bar where my father was murdered for the first time since his death. It's a bar that my family had owned off and on for 35 years and currently it's sold (although we carry the note and they have a 315,000 balloon payment in 2013 which I doubt will get paid, meaning we will likely own the bar again).

It will be interesting.

Then we will go to the ballet which is 7pm to 9pm and likely drive the 3 hours home afterwards.

Although I'm also excited for Saturday because likely Jay and I will be purchasing an elliptical from Toez and get it set up.
See, I'm not some healthy or exercise freak (obviously)... so it gets cold and theres no way in hell I want to go running or even walking out there. But having an elliptical in the comfort of our home where I can watch TV

Also, I think Jaybo is at the point where he wants to get healthier too so It's nice to have support and not be going it alone.

Hmm... well this blog got longer than I expected.. I need to get my ass in gear!
