dog's ok, friend's ok, everything but my checking account is ok.
i went to Portland today for two things:
- coconut milkshake with tapioca pearls
- Davey Jones action figure (i STILL haven't seen the movie, but it's a kickass figure anyway)
i got both of those things. i also came home with:
- all three volumes of the Lenore comic
- Little Apple Doll Atrum
- sarsparilla-flavored gummy mustaches
- a t-shirt with a print of skeleton pirates attacking on it
- hair bleach
- gray denim shortpants
...oops.
really, though, i needed new shortpants and have been meaning to buy bleach, the comics and the doll for a while. the t-shirt was just the first thing that caught my eye in the store and it's seriously beyond awesome. and the gummy mustaches? i don't know, i saw them at Newbury's last time i was there and decided they were a good idea to buy this time. i anticipate much fun with them.
in other news, i have discovered Gogol Bordello. FUCKING AWESOME. i bought their newest cd from work within 24 hours of first hearing them. i'll have to get their other albums later. i'd love to see their live show. we have fliers at work for an outdoor festival they're playing in Vermont in a couple of weeks, but i don't really have the money for that and don't like to travel for shows. but i really do want to see them someday soon.

Kittencrap. I really do want a few of those (esp. Ramirez!) Unfortunately, we won't be seeing any of that money for a couple weeks, and at the moment I'm pretty broke. I'm spending the last of my funds on some s3 Dunnys tonight. I'll check with you once I get my next paycheck. I understand if you have to get rid of them before then. How much do you plan on selling for?
