i want this sweater:
i have actually been wanting a black and gray striped sweater for a couple months. i knew Hot Topic would have to carry them at some point before Christmas.
luckily i'm going down to Portland on Wednesday to (hopefully) get some of the new Living Dead Dolls and visit with a friend. i got her Sublime's new "Gold" cd....it's two discs with pretty much all their songs, she's gonna love it.
i downloaded Hypnotize the other day, burned it and it's been in my car and won't be coming out until midnight on Monday/Tuesday, when i buy the real thing. it's soooo good. also i'm getting the Dresden Dolls dvd. it's only $7 at work and looks sooooo great. Newbury's was running an online special where the first 100 people to preorder it got a signed poster with it but i didn't check their site till today and they're all out.
oh well, at least i'll have the dvd.
last night i found out that Skindred is playing a show on the 26th. i was supposed to work till midnight but the assistant manager, who is one of the sweetest guys i have ever met, offered to trade shifts since he was scheduled 11-7. however, she show starts at 6. but since Skindred is headlining, i might be able to make it in time to see them. and if i bring a lanyard from work and a recent paystub, they'll let me in for free. so THAT'S how that works!
