i'm getting a DS very very soon. i could have had it today, even. but the postal service is retarded. so i'll be getting it in a few days. got some kickass games for it already.

made some awesome cookies today. bought caramel chocolate swirl chips. they're new and they fucking ROCK. then i realized we were out of granulated sugar. since i had already woken up wicked late and wanted to get the cookies done as fast as possible, i checked online really quick and found out it was acceptable to use powdered sugar instead, which we had about two bags of. i freaked while they were baking, they were leaking an awful lot of liquid, but they turned out great once they had cooled. i'm experimenting some more later. i need to make pumpkin cookies, too. maybe pumpkin pancakes, i have a recipe. and i need to make more pumpkin soda, i have pumpkin spice syrup (which is GODLY in Coke, and i don't even like Coke). i'm thinking it will go well in a dry-ish cream soda since it's very sugary. anyone recommend a brand? i don't drink much soda anymore so i'm unfamiliar.
