forgot to send my thanks for that link to The Hire dvd on ebay.. i ended up winning that auction so it's in the post at the moment..
just watched this..
it's part of this criterion boxset Rebel Samurai: Sixties Swordplay Classics which is totally kick ass.. you can freeze frame these films a couple of times every minute and the stills are just gorgeous in black and white..
you free at all over the next week? i need to pick braaaains

well yes i haven't been a lot on internet...in fact, im preparing a script for a ten minute movie i wanna make, it will be an horror scene,my first one! so i try to make things right, to make a storyboard, to chose the music, to deal with the lights etc...well donno if it will be good but at least its the first time i wanna do something in real, not just in thought and it makes me feel really good. what else...well shcool is ok, life is ok , i just feel alone sometime, but well it's like that. and u?whats new my dear?

Perhaps if I flew to Sydney (which is HELL cheaper than a flight to Canberra), I could join you on your roadtrip to Canberra? I might even have my P-plates then and could assist with the driving... though I'll see how I go and whether you'd trust me with your car! 
I'm working on Mardi Gras this year - crowd control (no, I'm not a butch security guard! I'm in charge of keeping the crowd happy and chirpy in the 4 hour wait before the parade starts - hell fun but hell tiring) so I'll be down in Sydney that weekend. Also on the hunt for a fun afterparty to go to after the parade as the main one wasn't brilliant last year so my best friend (a Sydney-sider) and I are looking for something different. Do you want to meet up at some stage that weekend? I like putting faces and vibes and people to names...
Oh, and if you hear of a cool afterparty for the parade, let me know!
