It's been a great week so far starting with Saturday. Friday night I drove to Seattle to visit friends. Saturday I walked my friend's dog at Marymoor park. This is a fabulous park for anyone who loves dogs because there is a huge off leash area and on the weekends there are sometimes hundreds of dogs there. There are areas where dogs can swim, run, or just walk and play.
Saturday I also had a massage, got Sushi, and saw Harry Potter at the Seattle Science Center on the great huge IMAX screen. That was the second time I saw the film and it was great to be able to appreciate all the details - the animated paintings were incredible on the bigger screen. We went to the 10:30 pm show because all of the other shows were sold out by the time we called Saturday morning. It still bugs me they never explained the origins of the Marauder's map but that is kind of beside the point.
Sunday I visited my grandfather in the home. That went better than expected. We were estranged for several years and there is some bad blood but since my grandmother's death he seems to enjoy my visits more. I know that loneliness is at least part of it. But I prefer to think that some of it is a willingness to leave the past behind.
The last couple of days have been back to work but I have had a couple of good and productive meetings and some of the things that have been bugging me for a long time seem to be improving.
So life is good.
