So, I was working at Windsor Park stadium in Belfast on Friday night, as a steward for the football (soccer) game between Linfield (local team) and Glasgow Celtic. The local "fans" disgrace their team by throwing bottles at Celtic players when they took corners, chanting sectarian and racist songs at the opposing fans, setting fire to Irish flags inside the stadium, screaming abuse at stewards because the police were video-recording them, trying to rush the stewards and police at the end of the game when a Celtic player (moron that he is) tied a Celtic scarf to the home goalpost at the final whistle, then tried to drop a metal industrial-sized bin (garbage-can in American English I think) on top of the Celtic team bus, then racing around the streets after the game to try to attack Celtic fans.
Most of these so-called fans were there for one reason and one reason only, and it wasn't to watch a football game. The sooner the world is rid of these uneducated, bigoted, sectarian, racist, homophobic pieces of shit, the sooner we can try to make a positive change to the planet. Ultra-Nationalism will kill the human race for good if we don't stop it.
Rant over, now I'm going to drink some whisky and watch Killjoys. Peace out!
