i got gus from the SPCA when he was 10 months old. i like to think that he ran off in search of adventure and chased car after car until someone nabbed him and took him to the shelter. maybe emmett ran away too...just hopped a train one day and didn't look back...wound up in seattle hungry and tired. so keep an eye on him!

My brother, who is essentially Canadian and was a big-shot computer guy for decades emailed me today that he, who has been unemployed for 2 years(!), is thinking of becoming a truck driver in Canada because it is one of the few job openings available in all of N. America.
Oh, Jesus! What to say about that?!?
So. Currently I am reading the new Coover book (Pierre) and Balzac and the Little Seamstress.
I miss lunabelle like an arrow pulled out of my side. :sigh:
