So a couple of days ago I started applying for jobs again, as I really dont want to get stuck working in retail, and i am so so so happy with the results. Last time i had 6 months with nothing but rejection letters.
I got a call from a nice woman at a recruitment agency who said she wants to put me forward for a couple of jobs in Tonbridge which would be about a 2 hour commute each morning all in all, but it would be more money and some worthwhile experience so i would go for it. At an insurance company, manning the phones. See how it goes, maybe i will get an interview.
I then got a call asking me to come for an interview on wednesday for a position at the Charities Aid Foundation, which would also be great as it pretty much the same job, manning phones and calling people up, but its 12,000-13000 and its much closer to home so mo' money and mo' time in bed in the morning! see how the interview goes.
FINALLY i got a call from a woman about a job which i am CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY excited about. Its in London, working as a receptionist/administrator but the money is immense, 17,500!!! she was just calling as she makes the shortlist for interview, so i dont even have an interview yet BUT she said my cv was really interesting and had caught her eye, and she seemed really nice and i think she liked me so im really hoping i get to interview because it is an actual graduate job!!!! A PROPER CAREER! anyway i think i made a good impression, we shall see.
SO all in all, im really pleased considering its only been 2 days and i have already had more interest than i had in 6 months of job hunting.
WOOOOOOO HOPEFUL!
Also go say grats to Crimsonblood as she is also doing amazingly at job hunting...and also go say grats on her generally being amazing!
