There are so many benefits to being a parent. One of the things my now 16 year old son and I came to share is a love of good film or even TV. We don't discriminate between live action or animated and in fact the work I am posting about here is a Nickelodeon production that ran for three seasons and is, in my opinion, one of the most watchable, entertaining and satisfying works of TV/film that I've ever seen. Here is a short film, about 30 minutes, featuring mostly the two creators of the shows (61 episodes) but also including much of the rest of the company. The series is called "Avatar: The Last Airbender" (so superior to the horrible M. Knight Shamalan film based on it) and I can't recommend it highly enough, for both children and older kids like me.

Not having seen the series, no comment. My daughter was rather put out by the movie. But then she now has a passionate dislike of what has happened to Dr. Who, she loved the Tennent years. We've been binging on the 1st 2 seasons of GOT. Yep, it is a priceless thing when they still want to hang with ya at that age.
