A project I ran in the early 2000s has been on my mind lately, for many reasons but mostly because I can't get the roofs out of my head. A few images below show a little about why.
The shingles you see are six inch wide Western Red Cedar showing two inches (yes, only two inches) to the weather. Obviously, the hip shingles are purpose made and unique to each area. Anyway, our fantastic crew did a nearly flawless job of it, no small feat, which allowed the stagings to come down which allowed the lake you see to be filled. Kind of a big deal.
